Are my audio files uploaded anywhere?
No. Every tool runs entirely inside your browser using the Web Audio API and WebAssembly. Your files stay on your device from start to finish — we never see them, store them, or transmit them. That's also why it's faster: there's no upload or download queue.
Is MyFreeAudioTool really free?
Yes — every tool is completely free with no signup, no watermarks, and no daily limits. The site is supported by ads, never by selling your data (we couldn't anyway: we never receive your files).
What formats are supported?
Load MP3, WAV, M4A/AAC, OGG, FLAC and most other common formats — plus MP4/WebM/MOV video for audio extraction. Export WAV and MP3 everywhere, with M4A, OGG, FLAC and AAC available in the converter.
Is there a file size limit?
No hard limit from us — capacity depends on your device's memory. We'll warn you above 200 MB, but we'll still try. Typical songs and recordings work fine on modern phones.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Every tool works on iOS Safari, Android Chrome and all modern desktop browsers. No app install needed.
